Distance from Krabi town: 17 km. Travelling time
by car: 25 mins/local taxi-boat 35 mins. A group
of 83 islands lie within the bay of Ao Nang, all
of which are easy to reach by boat, and some you
can even walk to, when the tide is low!!! Poda
Island is the largest in the group. Here you may
like to relax on the long stretch of beautiful
beach which surrounds much of the island. Boats
for the peninsular of Railay Beach and Phra Nang
Cave Beach, arguably the two of the most
beautiful beaches in the world, can be easily
arranged from Ao Nang or from Krabi town. |
